Here's what I posted about the project on September 12, 2006:

With DC's announcement that the Who's Who series will be compiled in two volumes of Showcase Presents: Who's Who, expect to see reprinted (in black & white) within the tomes Alan Davis' renditions of Kobra, the Masters of Disaster, Batman, Catwoman and the Reaper.

Great British Comics is a profusely illustrated book that takes a look at over a century of British comics.

Having flipped through it, I spotted the following Alan Davis art reprinted within:

- A page from 2000 AD #351, featuring D.R. & Quinch

- A page from The Daredevils, featuring Captain Britain

Note that these pages were reprinted in the book at a very reduced size.

Davis art on past covers of the Previews catalog -

The Davis/Farmer cover art for Genesis #3 appeared on the cover of Previews Vol. VII #6 (June 1997), while the Davis/Farmer cover art for JLA: The Nail #1 (minus the Atom, whose shy nature must have precipitated his shrinking beyond view at the prospect of the increased exposure Previews affords) graced the cover of Previews Vol. VIII #4 (April 1998). The catalog with the JLA: The Nail cover included a 2-page, black and white preview of JLA: The Nail #1.

An ebay photo of the Previews cover featuring the Genesis art is at http://cgi.ebay.com/June-1997-Catalog-P ... dZViewItem
