Alan,
Although we haven't seen much of what you are doing for the new Clan, how do you feel your art has changed/improved in the 10 years or so since you last visited with the family?
I had always thought that your progression with regards storytelling and style when you started on the Clan was pretty incredible (from what had gone before). And obviously it has kept on getting better and improving over time (which you would expect of any artist of course).
Best regards as always
Gordon

I couldn’t say how my drawing and storytelling have evolved. I’d like to think I was improving but that’s a judgement to be made by readers because my only assessment can be if I have achieved what I aimed to do and, since I regard myself as an entertainer rather than an artist, telling a good story, creating interesting and compelling characters is my only concern. The writing and art both facilitate that aim and override any thought about words and pictures in isolation of their primary purpose.
All the best
Alan
