Hey, Alan! Long time no question! I am curious...do you know the exact Excalibur and X-men issues that you specifically penned and drew. I found Excalibur 62, and I was exceptionally pleased with the way you wrote Nightcrawler, who will forever be my favorite character. I intend to purchase those specific issues...and to thank you again for your creative expertise!
I hope you are doing well, sir, and prospering in all you do.
Yours Truly,
Mary W.
Getting all the issues of Excalibur that you did...
StarChild, I thought I'd tackle this one...
The Excalibur and X-Men issues that were both written AND drawn by Alan:
As writer/penciller:
Excalibur #42-50, 54-56, 61-67
X-Men #96
X-Men/ClanDestine #1-2
As plotter/penciller:
X-Men #86-90, 93, 94, 97, 98
Also, the Davis-pencilled Excalibur #14 was based on a plot that Alan proposed at Marvel UK. Alan's plot credit for #14 was omitted but he was credited for #16 instead.
And of course, there were many issues of Excalibur and X-Men written OR drawn (but not both) by Alan.
