In 700 years surely Vincent wasn't the first Destine child to turn evil. Were there any "bad seeds"?
And might we ever see the story of Wolverine/Adam Destine crossing paths?

One of the principles I attempted to incorporate into the ClanDestine is how the historical shift in the boundaries of morality has marked the Clan, and Kay in particular. The majority of the Clan have lived through eras when ‘right and wrong’ had significantly different determinations-- Slavery was legal, homosexuality wasn’t, women were property, murder could be sanctioned by state or church—there are those who will argue that things have only changed superficially But the Clan’s determination of right and wrong would be very different from the mainstream MU so most of the family don’t easily fit into the definitions of hero or villain. Even Vincent will resist being pigeon-holed as a classic villain.
Never say never!

Alan,
Does Marvel let you layer the Clan's history within the existing MU history or do you need to get everything approved? Assuming editorial approval, are there any intermingling of histories you've been denied (by Marvel) that you would have liked to have written?

So far none. Although, most ‘guest appearances’ feature fairly minor events-- tangential to major continuity-- and always position the cameo/guest as THE hero.… are there any intermingling of histories you've been denied (by Marvel)
