Talking of slowing things down, I know you got your daughter doing the dirty work sorting your artwork, but I'm sure there would be a lot of volunteers available to do that!! And I'd be first in line!!
(Dang! Now he'll relly see me as some mad drooling fanboy Scotsman!)

Well I'll be honest that I might be mis-remembering - over 10 years ago now!! But there were definitely a few pages on a table that my now wife offered to buy one for me (kick!kick!kick!) I guess I can wait that month - it wold be easy to spoil everyone too quick wouldn't it. Again, thaks for the re...
Thanks for the reply - I dont know of any amateur artist who is satisfied with their work and when I hear professionals with the same insecurities as us, it warms the cockles... That said, I have seen your "basic" pencils and I must say it still puts others to shame - even at that vintage!! I'll be ...
Aquaman
Alan, I've seen in a couple of interviews that you were going to do an Aquaman gig before you got the BATO one. Reading Modern Masters I see that you actually completed a first issue. Any of that still surviving? And how do you consider the quality of it looking back? Bestest Gordon Somers Scotland.

A question of pencils
Alan I was wondering if you still keep copies of all your pencilled work? I have been very fortunate to have seen photocopies of your pencils from your first run on Excalibur as well as having seen midway inks and a copy of pencils on Paul Neary's drawing board of the Black Knight short you had done...

Quick X-men Question
Alan I saw your final issue of Uncanny and was a bt dismayed to see on a page where you had clearly drawn the coast off Backpool referred to in the text as "The West Country". Does a writer not researching enough bother you at all? I realise that not too many readers in the States will see the glitc...

I believe ClanDestine to be one of the best things Alan has ever produced - issue 5 in particular I thought was a stand-out issue. I still look at that as one of the biggest influences on my own drawings. Curious as to others vews on their favorite issue. Also curious as to Alan's creative thinking ...
