On the 2nd anniversary of Jim Aparo's passing, I wanted to share his rarely-seen covers for The Menomonee Falls Gazette.

#98 features The Phantom, #112 has Batman and Robin comin' at you and James Bond graces #221.

These covers are at http://www.mycomicshop.com/megastore/se ... l&til=7873

3 years now since Jim Aparo passed away, so on this day I thought I'd mention a couple of projects which will hopefully hit shelves in 2009.

The Brave and Bold Art of Jim Aparo - John Morrow wrote in March that "work is progressing slowly on it; the soonest it'd be out would be late 2009 at this point, but we won't resolicit it until it's 100% finished. So when you see it listed again, know it's in the can and ready to go."

Also, the listing for Comic Book Artist (Vol.2) #8 notes that "our 'CBA Classic' section focuses on the life and career of the late artist Jim Aparo, complete with interview, art gallery and essays."
