Cover work

Post by Thavius »

Mr. Davis,

Hello, while a fan, this is specifically regarding published comic book work from my studio, First Salvo.

We can be seen at: http://www.firstsalvo.com/news.htm where you will see the other artists already involved with us.

Norm Breyfogle has come on board as a regular artist, along with regular inkers Mark McKenna and Bob Almond.

We have learned you had a recent wrist injury and had hoped to schedule a future short story rather like one being drawn by Bob's collaborator, Sal Velluto and inked by Bob. Or another, penciled by Ron Frenz. However, seeing as you are injured, might we schedule a cover from you in future months, following your recovery and 'catch-up' on work?

Since the passing of Gil Kane, I have made a personal effort to contact those who inspired my love of comics. However, more directly to hire them for something as simple as a cover or pin-up. I'd love a short story - 8 pages from you, but let's not shoot too high - I know you are a busy and popular artist.

Thanks for your time.

If you know any of the artists working with us, I'm sure they'd be happy to let you know the fun they've been having.

Happy Easter

Regards,
Thad Branco
