Alan, I'm sure you've heard about Steve Rude starting a line of comics under his name. Have you ever thought of doing your own line of comics, maybe doing Clandestine again?

I would think that you would have the following to make a go of it.

Just curious.

David Miller

P.S. is there still a comics industry in England similar to what you knew in the 60's or 70's. Or is everything imports.
Thanks

Hi David

I could give examples of the dishonesty, petty politics and juvenile egotism that caused me to avoid self publishing in the past-- which not only cost me time and money but was also thoroughly demoralising.
The simple answer is I don't want to be a 'publisher'.
I have been fortunate enough to (mostly) work on characters and stories that I enjoy and, when deciding how to spend my days, I'd rather be drawing and writing that pitching and politicking.

Sorry, I have absolutely no idea about the current state of the British comic industry.

All the best

Alan
