DC covers collection?

Post by XIII »

DC is preparing a book called "Cover Run: The DC Comics Art of Adam Hughes":
http://www.randomhouse.ca/catalog/displ ... 1401227821

No details yet, only that it will be a 208 page hardcover, and considering that Adam Hughes has drawn 150 covers for DC (+ 12 backcovers), it stands to reason that this book will feature every single DC cover drawn by Hughes.

It's probably safe to say that if the book has any success, other collections devoted to prominent "cover artists" will follow, like Brian Bolland (361 covers for DC) or Alan Davis (142 covers):

Thanks! I just took the list of covers from here and trimmed out the non-DC stuff:

Of course, if this book ever happens, I'd like it to be as complete as possible. We'll have to wait and see how the Hughes book turns out first.

I think it very unlikely DC would ever bother collecting my covers. The collections are usually reserved for illustrative or painted covers and, in Adam’s case, it doesn’t hurt that the majority would all be GGA. And I’m sure, bound to be very successful.
