In Excalibur I#47, Saturnyne is shown getting interruped from a dalliance due to Brian Braddock's rampage. Saturnyne gets dressed, and for at least one panel we see a scruffy, rugged looking man with unkempt black hair wearing a familiar looking medallion. Was this supposed to be Conan? I ask as the title to Excalibur I#46 was an homage to the Cimmerian.

There was no conscious or deliberate link between the title of 46 ‘Colin the Barbarian’ and the scene in 47 which did indeed show a Conan-esque character. The scene was intended to reveal that Saturnyne had a taste for wild, rough and dangerous men—and was NOT a celibate ice maiden waiting for a good man to thaw her heart.
Perhaps she used her access to time and space
Okay, I thought that the idea was that since Saturnyne had access to time and space she might occaisonally someone people from various past eras.
