New Art!

Post by Gordon Somers »

Alan - thanks for posting some new art and prelims to your site again. Reading your comments in the news button, I for one never see what you are giving us as a 'how to', rather it's more an insight into your working method and inspiration.

I am particularly impressed by the (for want of a better word) full size thumbnails for pages. Is this something you do now and again or for every page?

Bestest as ever

Gordon, It really depends on how the mood takes me-- what the page contains, most crucially the number of panels and size or complexity of the images. AND, aside from anything else, 'a change is as good as a rest'. One problem with drawing in a restricted form with regular deadlines is to avoid giving into the 'production line' mentality. Varying the MO helps avoid becoming stale-- or at least I hope it does.
