I was thinking like family or close friends. Stuff not called for by the story.

The only times I can recall drawing a friend in a story, relate to Les Chester, who was instrumental with helping me break into comics. I included him in the first issue of Captain Britain, on a poster, but he was edited out-- so I included him again as a waiter in a later issue. There were other times when I was asked to include likenesses by editors or writers.

I know this may not be the same thing, but the princess and prince in Excalibur 12 and 13 looked like spitting images of Princess Diana and Prince Charles.
