I've long admired this piece of Alan's art from a friend's collection, only neither of us know where/if it was originally published, and if so, what caused the damage to Captain Britain's hand...
It appeared in the fanzine Shortfuse-- listed in the Checklist on my site, as does the blasted CB image (along with a second contribution featuring Batman and the Joker) which appear in the Trivia Archive.
