From the fanzine vault, some info on Comics Buyer's Guide #1571, a 2003 release:

"The cover story [for CBG #1571, 12/26/03 cover date] was "RELOADING THE X-MEN" wherein CBG correspondent George Nelson reported Alan Davis' Mid-Ohio-Con announcement that he and writer Chris Claremont would be the new creative team for Marvel's UNCANNY X-MEN."

A reprint of the Davis-pencilled Uncanny X-Men #451 was packaged with the X-23 action figure from the Marvel Legends Series 12 line.

This reprint features a different cover - it's in fact the Billy Tan art from the cover of X-23 #3.

A listing for this reprint 'variant' is at http://www.mycomicshop.com/megastore/se ... &til=23676 , while photos of the comic (obscured as it is) in its toy packaging can be seen at http://cgi.ebay.com/Marvel-Legends-X-23 ... otohosting and http://auctions.yahoo.com/i:MARVEL%20LE ... :100020482
