Re: PHOENIX COLOURING CONTEST!

do other peoples entries give you ideas on tackling it in a different way? Why certainly. I should have used a whole lot more contrast in my entry. It reads as too washed out right now, when you compare it to the entries next to it. I probably should have defined things more with the gouche instead...

Re: PHOENIX COLOURING CONTEST!

Damn. I didn't win... :( But I'm not a sore loser, because it looks like I might be getting a print after all! :) Thanks Mr Davis! I'll send the info ASAP. Re: PHOENIX COLOURING CONTEST!

Aye! I agree. ^^

Maybe Mr Platis can throw us a small tease and tell us an approximation of how many entries there was, this time?
More? Less? Than the Spirit-contest, I mean.

Re: Ex Infernus needs a penciller!

Really?? It does? I've mostly seen the covers that he does, like on Daredevil and Nova for Marvel, and a few of his Kabuki-cover. The only interior comic-panels I have seen from him was from his run on Daredevil where he did a run with his and Quesada's creation, Echo. That was some highly, ...

Re: PHOENIX COLOURING CONTEST!

Ooooh... It's getting hotter..! ^^

This sounds quite promising, really. Might one expect the results by this evening even?? ( obviously there's a time-difference, since I'm on the other side of the atlantic, so that might make your evening more like my morning)

Re: PHOENIX COLOURING CONTEST!

You are of course right Mr Platis. :)

I think some of us just got a bit carried away since the results came in so fast on the last contest.

Re: PHOENIX COLOURING CONTEST!

So... I guess the winner will be announced today or tomorrow? It would be cool if we could see the gallery tonight, since the deadline is over. :)

Re: PHOENIX COLOURING CONTEST!

Certainly, take all the time you need to assess all of the entries in a professional manor. :)

This must also mean that there are a LOT of entries. ^^

Re: PHOENIX COLOURING CONTEST!

ONE day! Or rather, half a day only, even. 0_0

This is quite exciting actually. I hope there's a lot of entries, just to see how great an artistic range there would be. :)

Re: PHOENIX COLOURING CONTEST!

Hey, I've got a question? I've decided that I can't improve much else on my old colour-job, since it has a certain quality to it that I don't want to change. So I've got this other idea with somewhat different paints and mediums in mind. Are you allowed to enter more than one entry per person? Maybe...

Re: PHOENIX COLOURING CONTEST!

And for those of us that weren't around for the Spirit-challenge? I've already checked the spirit-thread, and sadly the link Mr Platis posted is no longer working, so I can't get Mr Davis signature from the spirit-thread. So... Anybody feeling merciful and willing to kindly link me to a scan of Mr D...

Re: SPIRIT COLOURING CONTEST!

Anybody still have a link to this image? The one Mr Platis posted on the first page doesn't work anymore. I kind of need it so I can find a high-rez scan of Mr Davis signature. I can't sign the Phoenix-challenge entry without having the signature of the artist there as well.. Please, if anybody has ...

I'd like to sign my entry, but Mr. Davis forgot to sign it..!! It dun' feel right to sign it if Mr. Davis signature isn't right there above mine. Anybody have a high-quality scan of Mr....
