Question about Djinn

Hi Alan, I love your work, especially Excalibur, and have recently become a fan of Clandestine. I do have a question regarding Adam and the Djinn mating... The children have been born off and on over the centuries, but the Djinn is never around. They obviously have to have "relations" every so often...

Hey, Mr Davis.

Would you like to see Clandestine take a more active role in the marvel universe? Perhaps cameo in New Excalibur, since they're in the UK as well?

Thanks so much for taking the time to reply Alan. I really appreciate it. I enjoy knowing what goes on inside artists' heads, espcially a great one such as yourself.

Michael.

Alan, is Ayesha the child of Carol Danvers, Genis-Vell or Mar-Vell? Does she have a codename? Is she the new Captain Marvel.

Small Survey for Mr. Alan Davis

I just figured I'd ask some questions that I've wanted to know and others might have as well, you don't have to answer if don't want to. I'm just putting it out there. Are you a fan of and do you read any current comics? Do you keep tabs on characters you created, helped create or made famous? i.e. ...

Did you sell the rights to Marvel or were the rights Marvel's all along?

Typically I'm not a big FF, but knowing Mr. Davis was both writing and drawing...well, i couldn't resist. And was it ever worth it! Both the art and writing were terrific. I now have to decide whether i want to pick it up in trade or just get all the issues. Same here, but since it has the Avengers...

Fantastic Four: The End

The first issue comes this wednesday, November 1st, and the previews are amazing. A preview for issue 2 was put out today and it looks even better than issue 1. Alan, I know you can't spoil much, but I've got a burning question. I see that in Fantastic Four: The End, Franklin is an adult. Is there a...

I'd love for an Excalibur: The End series or something similar. Something that is probably an alternate future/what if. Where Alan would tell the end of lets say the Captain Britain Corps, Otherworld and I suppose the Multiverse. We'd learn Meggan's true origin, well Alan's origin for her. Captain B...

In just about every issue of the All-New Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe A-Z, there are both drawings by you, Alan, and drawings that are traced from your lines and have no artist credited. It really makes no sense. If they could go thru all the work to find the image and trace it, why not ...

I second that. Excalibur: The End. Would be amazing.

Alan, I always loved Nigel Frobisher. Would you agree that he was one of the first transgendered/transexual characters in comics?

I know this may not be the same thing, but the princess and prince in Excalibur 12 and 13 looked like spitting images of Princess Diana and Prince Charles.

I realized I turned this thread into one all about me.

Alan,

You send your pencils off to Mark and he inks them. What happens next? Does he send them to Marvel NYC? Also, do you get the inked work back or is it property of Marvel?

:D Thanks so much, Alan. I'm sorry to hear about you feeling like an outsider. Its odd that Marvel and DC do this to some of the best talent out there. I know from what Chris Claremont posts on Comixfan, Marvel can pretty be a tough place to work for. However, I still love Marvel's characters and it...

Wow! Thanks Alan, for the quick reply. I completely agree on everything you just said about the colors. It seems to be more about special effects and textures than actually complimenting the art. You are one of, if not my top, favorite penciller. It shames me when they colors drag your pencils and M...
