Wow MiG! Your website is great. I especially liked your tutorial, very influential and incredibly informative. Thank you for the point-of-view and advice. Unfortunately I don't have any programs to enable myself to try digital colouring :( None the less I will try to use more ink on my finishes, I e...

Thanks Matt for letting me know. It's good to be back. Hope that you liked the pic I don't use colour often, I prefer either a wash or favourite a good solid pencil finish. At times i think that the use of colour can take away from the original glory of the pencil and it's line work. What do others ...

I'm back and I'm bad!

Hello Mr Davis and others. Again, been nearly a month since my last post. I have been working my socks off. I have been doing my best to do some panel drawings, especially for the Daredevil Submission I was working on. Thanks to Raj and Matt I created a space on image shack, so thanks very much for ...

Aha great guys thanks very much, your help is absolutely appreciated.
Next time that I post a Question or reply I will do my best to show one of my Pin-ups as I am still working on a scene-by-scene piece.

As always Thank You.
Sincerely Jason. :D

Thak you.

Dear Mr Davis and row. Sincerely, thank you both for the helpful words. I understand and can see how, with pacing a story, that smaller panels are used to speed up the story pace, as the eye will glance over a smaller panel and move on. As with longer/wider panels the brain has more information to p...

The use of a certain Panels.

Dear Mr Davis, It has been a while since I have posted a question here for you, sir. I have however, been keeping an eye on the forum. I was drawing a page of a `Daredevil` submission I have been working on. I noticed' that I have never used a long, thin, vertical panel, in any of the pages I have d...

Great Designs.

Dear MIG Sorry I am taking up some more of the reply space. I have to say I think your character designs are great. A cool mixture of Comic book/Sci-fi and demonic looking characterisation. I can see that your art is very reminicent of Mr Davis' style. I mean no disrespect by that comment/observatio...

Ahhh Matt, that is a shame. Too be honest my local library is not very big. It's a single floor, with only one room. However, they keep a good selection of Graphic novels on a turning book case. Seriously, 'Hellblazer' is worth the read. If you can track some down, it is very good. It's Incredibly d...

HellBlazer Baby!

I'm Back!! Sorry I am going to plug another book that doesn't have anything to do with Mr. Davis. (I swear I am gonna be lynched.) I am fortunate enough to be a member of my towns local Library and thank the lord, they have a great assortment of Graphic Novels. So recently I picked up a 'Hellblazer'...

Thanks Matt. Glad that other people are reading the same stuff that I myself enjoy. :D I have to admit I was a little silly in getting the second volume first, as at the time it was the only volume that Play.com had in stock. None the less, I am definately going to order the other volumes asap from ...

Liberty Meadows and Frank cho Related Projects.

Ok for my 21st Birthday my Brother managed to purchase for me, Frank Cho's 'women'. His anthology of curvasious good girl art. A lovely book which sincerely made me think that I was looking at cartoons and illustrations of kelly Brook. Yes the former t.v. presenter and film star. Again loved this bo...

Dear Mr Davis Thanks for replying and elaborating on your thoughts. I do understand what you are getting at. For instance, every art teacher I have had in my educational and artistic persuit (One of which is still a good friend of mine) all condemed the comic book as an 'art form'. Seriously trying ...

Dear Entopy, True enough, what helps with creative influence and evalution within artistick styles is to look at other influences. Agreeably these influences and others have seen the rise in the graphic Novel. I wondered if the rise of the comic book movie has helped comic book sales or hindered the...
