I believe you're right, Rayeye, about the 'War' illo that's on the second page of the Deathbird profile being Alan's art, even though that illo is credited to Melvin Rubi. Perhaps the credits were simply mixed up - the inset illo on the first page being Rubi's art, and the 'War' illo being Davis'. ...

Personally I think the War picture in Deathbird's profile was drawn by Alan Davis, not the inset picture.

I doubt that. The former Marvel Legacy handbooks contained only old existing art, just like the current (All-New) Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe issues.
