I hate to sound rude, but I really thought Steve Ditko had died a while back so I was surprised when Jonathan Ross went in search of him. It's good to know that he is still around even if he did act a little strange over the interview and photographs. It's probably old Rossy's fault. He probably sai...

I recently re-read the Killraven mini series and I have to say I thought the ending was pefect. It tied up the storyline yet left it open to be taken on if someone (hint hint) wanted to. :|

I have to admit that I have a standing order in with my comic shop for anything Alan does (just in case I miss something). My comic shop owner, Colin Gould (ex of Ogre books) is great about putting stuff away for me. I totally agree though that another Legion story would be terrific. Crusader if you...

Thanks for the info Alan. I have to say the fluid style of figure drawing you have is terrific and I don't really think it could be easily emulated (even by Mr Hitch. lol)
I have to admit that I scan your crowd scenes like crazy ever since discovering Grandma Giles lurking in one of them.

You've got to love that translation. I think I need an interpreter for some of it anyway.
Good to know that the interest in the Destine family is global though. lol

I just re-read The Nail and Another Nail and still find them awesome both story and art.
I would still like to see Alans take on the Metal Men in a mini series though. His fluid style suits them perfectly.
The only thing that bugged me in Nail2 was that Cliff Steele(Robotman) looked too thin.

I contacted my local comic shop today and the new series hasn't been listed for ordering yet. Needless to say I put my order in anyway. lol

Betsy's finest hour was when she was taking on Sabretooth in the X Mansion. She looked everybit the English rose but showed her grit and determination throughout. Well said, Vyrt. And I'm sure a lot of readers were wondering why this Alan Davis fellow wasn't the regular penciler of X-Men at the tim...

I wonder if those two pages are a fantasy sequence. I also wonder when #1 will be released. :D I think the number of villains could be a clue. My guess is that Rory is dreaming (or Walter is having a nightmare. He does worry about the young 'uns). I know what you mean about the publication date. Th...

Bring back the original Betsy Braddock and let's have no more of this ninja foolishness.

Looks like Rory and Pandora haven't changed. I suppose Rory is still referring to her as his sidekick. Ahhh. The Crimson Crusader and Imp live again.
Great pencils as usual. So much action and that's only the first two pages. Hoo boy this is so going to have been worth the wait.

I thought the sequence when Kurt and Maggan where working out and Meggan changed her appearance to that of a female Nightcrawler was absolutely inspired. That whole thing had me smiling at the sheer beauty and subtle humour of the moment, how close Kurt and Meggan came and just as they were about to...

Metal Men

I see DC are going to bring back the Metal Men for a 8 issue run. I always loved the interplay between the characters during the Ross Andru/Mike Esposito days so I look forward to seeing just what has happened to my onetime favourite characters. Of course the ideal would be for our own Mr Davis to g...
